    Hi folks,

    I’ve been searching for an answer but couldn’t really find a clear one.

    I’m going to build a rat clone (musikding) and it has 3 pcb mounted pots but I’m using a different enclosure so I won’t be able to mount and solder them to the pcb directly, and will have to wire them to the pcb.

    Do you have any regular way to do this? Bend de lugs 90 degrees and solder the wires to them? Or use the holes on top of the lugs? Not sure what should be the way to go.

    I just cut the long lugs off and solder wires directly to the lug pads.  Or I just use pots that have solder lugs instead of long angle lugs designed for PC mount.

    This RAT kit came with the pcb pots.

    So with lug pads you mean the little holes above the lugs?

    Or the remainder of each long lug.
