I’m so pleased with my wee self I had to post these pictures
Managed to desolder and replace this teeny tiny NE5532 on this Keeley Oxblood and it sprung into life
I’d like to thank all my friends on GPCB for believing in me without you it wouldn’t have been possible for me to receive this SOIC 8 award
On a more serious note I put a little solder on each pin left the old solder on the pads brushed some flux paste on the pads to hold it in place and used my heat gun to solder it on
Job done….hurrah!

Well done, Billy! That looks like you have mastered “Wave Soldering” techniques. Not for the faint of heart.
