<p>I&#8217;ve just ordered all the parts to build a P.U.F.F Pump&#8217;d Up Fuzz pedal but am having trouble finding germanium PNP transistors to go in it.</p>
<p>Does anyone know where I could get a couple of these (I need 8) for the build?</p>

<p>Well the next build is the Space Modulator 🙂  Just waiting for it to arrive from Musikding. I&#8217;ve also bought some VW hubcaps to turn into copies of the Arbiter fuzzface pedals as my brother in law is a guitarist AND a VW freak.</p>

Keen to get onto the next one!</p>

Don&#8217;t have replacement parts but I&#8217;m thinking I&#8217;ll go ahead with the rest of the build and see what happens. Lots of lessons being learned as I go and if it is damaged it&#8217;s really only cost me $50. I can live with that.</p>
<p>Just ordered another kit from pedal parts just in case.</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Soooooooo. I soldered the IC&#8217;s directly to the board &#8230; then found bases in another bag. Does it matter that they are soldered directly? Do I need to tske them off? Has the heat potentially damaged them and I need to replace them?</p>

<p>I&#8217;ve printed out, read and re-read the guides to make sure I understand what they are telling me. The standing resistors is something I was curious about after seeing a photo of a completed build so thanks for clearing that up.</p>

<p>This is the first pedal build I&#8217;ve ever done.
