    Dual voice filter foot switch mounts to main pcb

    Docs don’t say if you mount switch on label side and solder on back

    or mount on back and solder on the label side

    Already bulit one and is not working, wondering if  installed switch on wrong

    side of PCB

    Any help

    The switch can be installed on either side as long as the lugs are horizontal to the board.  If you have the switch mounted correctly then you may  have a different issue.  Advise and we will assist.

    The idea is it is mounted with the components facing up so that the input/output jacks line up with the input/output wiring. This makes everything close and symmetrical with the enclosure. If you wired it with everything face down the Wiring to the jacks would be a great deal longer in order to reach.

    While you can do it either way if you look at our guides on the Guides Page all of our boards are typically mounted with the silk screen facing up so that jacks are easily accessed and you can see what each component is and test or troubleshoot a lot more easily.
