I found an Industrial Fuzz v3 in a “ I forgot about that” box. I immediately remove Q2 & Q3 sockets, melted one pad and soldered Q3(e) to R4. Shazam it works! Crazy circuit. A variety of fuzz tones, feed back on demand with a roll of the Strats volume, and when I get bored I can turn the guitar volume all the way down and eavesdrop on radio chatter!

I have a real love/hate relationship with this one.

I absolutely love the circuit — it does exactly what it was designed to do — but I hate that it does not sell. It’s wild to me that it’s now obsolete.

I think the main issue is perception. Even though my demo clearly shows what it’s capable of, many people assume it’s not working properly because, at its core, it’s a noise-maker. With quick and careful adjustments, that I show right up front in the video by turning the Stab down, it can easily produce some truly great fuzz tones.

    Thanks for sharing.

So far I’ve gotten Fuzz Face, Muff, Superfuzz (aka, Leeds Fuzz), Dirty & Clean Crunch and Massive Wooly Nebulas. Very touch sensitive. The squeal from the Stab is great with a volume pedal & stutter! For the less adventurous … I think an ON/OFF switch for Stab control would turn this pedal into a gotta’ have. Hfe is 81 & 103 RCA PNP House Germ from Small Bear.

Also, this pedal needs a expression control option for Comp/Gate/Stab. Nice demo!
