A friend of mine wants a phaser for bass and baritone guitar. I have read that in many other builds, altering a circuit to work better with bass can be as simple as changing the input cap to something like 220n or higher. Does anyone have any recommendations for the Dr. Phybes v4 circuit to make it more bass-friendly?

The best way to make any pedal bass-friendly is to use a Paramix.

There are videos showing people using the phase 90 with bass stock. If you have a Paramix you can dial in any amount of bottom end you need to any circuit, or circuits within its loop.

You can try changing the capacitor values as well. I have never tried personally to see how it would work for the Dr. Phybes.
