Unfortunately, the entire site went down.

Fortunately, I just did a site-wide backup 5 weeks ago.

If anyone needed support help and posted within the last 5 weeks you will have to post again. Apologies.

That is all that was negatively affected aside from my sanity.

I notice more recent “show off your build” posts have disappeared.

Everything disappeared from 5 weeks ago to Oct 31st.

Trust me it is not the kind of thing you want to wake up to when you are trying to run a business.

The entire shop was gone and I had to re-inventory my entire stock among many anxiety filled scenarios.

That said it could have been much worse if I hadn’t made that backup as recently as I did.

Losing things do to a glitch/website error sucks for website owners, especially if they act as their first line IT specialist.  Always bad to lose recent data.  Maybe backing up the shop portion of the site daily, if possible, might be a good idea.  What happened really doesn’t matter to those who read the forum for fun and entertainment.  I can always repost my recent builds.  But to the site owner with a “store” really hurts and means a lot of work.

This just reminds me to fix problems with the back-up software (auto mode) I have on my own PC.
